Today, 6/02/2014, June and I went to the Cook County clerk's office and had our civil union officially recognized as a marriage from 6/2/2011. What a wonderful third anniversary gift!

Now I can say we are Married. Not "married" (with quotes), or something just like "marriage", or a civil union, or a partnership. No more explanations.

We are married.

Just like every other married couple in the world.  I like the sound of that.  I'm a married woman.

Also I have taken the name of my husband, June. I am now officially, legally, Sandra Wagner. Yes, I've been practicing my new signature, but it'll be a while before it becomes automatic.
And now I have to go through all the rigamarole of changing my name (again!) on all my legal documents.  The last vestige of my previous life is now gone.

Proudly, Mrs. Wagner.
Out of the darkness, into the light.
Following my bliss.

Congratulations, i'm so happy for you! :).
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain, I like watchin' the puddles gather rain.

Despite all my rage, I'm still just a rat in a cage

Super gratz! Has it really been that long? Time flies.

I was just thinking of you yesterday and wondering if you're still acting.

Yes I am.  And I'll be directing the fall play, "Moon Over Buffalo".  It's a really funny backstage farce about an aging acting couple, drunken actors, and unexpected pregnancy.  What's not to like?

It was Carol Burnett's re-debut on Broadway.  I'm really looking forward to it.

Sounds good, I could use a comedy. I saw the last part of 'Dairyman the moosical' Sunday. Somehow it wasn't what I pictured.

I plan to visit Howard brown in early July. I don't have a date yet. Maybe we could visit a bit.
