I'm shrinking!!

I started pre-transition over 5'7 1/2" and maybe even closer to 5'8". I have just had my yearly physical and I am now down even further. Last year I was at 5'6 1/2, I'm now only 5' 6" even......yay for me. Now if my hands would shrink....and my ass enlarge!!

Why is it though I still feel so tall when I wear heels UGH!!!

Shelly, did you wear the exact same shoes this time as you did last time?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with wearing heels and feeling tall. I'm 5'8" and if I wear heels I feel the shape of the legs far outweight the extra height. Besides I have dated girls that have towered over me by several inches and it in no way took away from their sexiness.

When I lost weight before, I shrunk in height, as weird as it sounds.
15 years on Susans, where has all the time gone?

I think we all shrink in height as we get older, but trans women on HRT should be taking calcium supplements to offset bone loss and any potential for osteoporosis. Calcium citrate is the preferred type as it doesn't promote kidney stones like the other type. Shelly, you might want to consider a bone density test and make sure that you're not having a bone loss problem.

I was thinking I should have outlined my hand and foot on a sheet of paper before starting HRT.

Actually I'm still early (3-months? that's it? eh) so why not for curiosity sakes.

Height can also decrease from pelvic tilt, but apparently thats more when you start under 35 from what I gather.  Feet shrink a bit in length from more arch (maybe thats just me) little change in hands besides the filling out of fingers with fat.
