Got my date. June 17 i see my ob/gyn. Sadly its a male doctor but my primary is a female so i wont feel so uncomfortable. With the lack of bottom bit dysphoria, i should be ok....i hope lol

I have a male obgyn too, there actually nicer and quicker, they know not to linger in that area to long, the obgyn is the one who put me on birth control (when I use to use it), its normal to be nervous, I was that's for sure, if your just going for hrt reasons and you didn't have bottom surgery, I wouldn't worry to much

I just hope that i have everything needed. I know he may want bloodwork down but i really wanna walk out with my script in hand or at least wen i get home, my pharacy has it filled since i would ask him to call it in

An OB/GYN is also more likely to have a much better idea of hormones than an Endo.. After all, many specialise in HRT for menopause - which is not all that different to the treatment for trans women. And it's not just about 'parts', it's about a whole system..

OB/GYNs now treat women and trans patients whether pre or op or post op. apparently i need high dose becuz it'll stop my body from becoming flooded with testosterone because i'm in the last leg of puberty; everything went in reverse order. other than that, i dont know the reason because my doctor was only relying what my endo told him. he probably knows but for some reason isnt telling me. anyways, i called today and i was automatically given a really early appointment ( his schedule wasnt allowing him to see new patients until the 3 week of july) i got in June 17.
