It is only recently that I began looking at FFS options and realizing that different Drs work better with different requirements. I originally got a consult from Dr Zukowski and Dr Mayer. Based on the pictures I have seen I am leaning toward dr mayer, but I would really appreciate thoughts and suggestions on who I should be looking at.

The big work I could like to have done is on my nose, chin, and brow. Also recommended was cheeks and lips but I am not sure if I want to do either of those. Any thoughts and suggestions would be really appreciated!

Hey Jen

Welcome to Susan's  :)  Great to have you here - looking forward to seeing you around the forum.

I don't know if you are on HRT or not, but I'd give that at least 12-18 months before you start thinking about cheeks. The 'mones can make a difference over time. Can't recommend anyone as I've not been through that hoop myself.

Please check out the following links for site rules, helpful tips and other info...

Cheers

I can see the nose and brow, the chin maybe. Your lips and cheeks look good as they are. I agree with Grace though, give hormones a chance to work first, they can do a lot for you.

Hi there,

Am no specilaist on which surgeons does what best, but I just wanted to say that you should give hormones some time to work on your face as maybe you won't be needing anything for lips/cheeks. I've seen a lot of good results from Dr. Dimaggio on forehead work, quite impressive, and also from Facial Team. I would not know much more.

Good luck!

Thank you for the responses everyone. I have been on HRT for about 6 months and don't plan surgery until the 12 to 18 month mark. My real big concerns are with the nose and brow and I don't think those will really shift much. This seems like a great place though and I can't wait to get to know everyone.

Hi JenP

I had surgery with Dr Z five weeks ago.  I am posting an updated photo next Monday.  Give HRT some more time.  However, for the extent of the work that you are talking about, I'd go Dr Z.  When you can send PMs, get advice from Jennygirl - she knows them both.

Hugs

To move forward is to leave behind that which has become dear. It is a call into the wild, into becoming someone currently unknown to us. For most, it is a call too frightening and too challenging to heed. For some, it is a call to be more than we were capable of being, both now and in the future.

I can't give you a name in particular, just a general recommendation, choose a surgeon who performs type 3 forehead reconstruction and good rhinoplasties.
