You girls and your love of miniature branding irons is always good for a laugh.
I own 3 of them -I must be a masochist, lol!

As for what made me happy today, my SO and I had a talk and we straightened out a few things that were bothering me. We're taking my boat out fishing tomorrow. Hopefully I'll catch some fish! The little one is really looking forward to her first boat ride. I can't wait to see the look on her little face as we take off. :eusa_dance:

Scoring a beautiful goal with some great linkup to make the game 3-2 in our favour, just before the half.

I was at my parents house with my family earlier and my mom made a comment about my hair saying that I needed to get a hair cut.  My sister-in-law (who knows I am trans) said that she liked guys with long hair and that she thought that long hair would look good on me.

It really made me happy when she said that because I didn't feel alone.  That's been the hardest thing about transition for me is that I feel like I am so alone in this... I know there are many trans people out there who are going through the same things as me, but I personally don't know any, and it was just refreshing to hear someone I know in the flesh and blood chime in during an uncomfortable time and let me know that she has my back.  :)

Hysto done June 4th and I'm very much alive and back home. :D

Congrats, Tossu.

I hung out with a friend yesterday who I can talk for hours with. He told me I'm attractive and specified that he meant as a guy. He also has no ulterior motives for being my friend and I believe him. We had a good conversation that included (but was not limited to) subjects like gender, societal pressure, and being trans. I told him how I'm worried about appearing too effeminate because people have and have had a habit of trying to put me in that box and he laughed and said I'm more of a man than he is. (Which is true in other ways. He's got what he describes as a female side and has considered transitioning before.) We talked about how neither of us like the analogy of being "square peg in a round hole" because neither of us wants to be only one shape of peg or fit only one shape of hole. I could go on, but to sum up, it was a good conversation with a friend who gets it.
Also, we went to go see X-men which was good. The ending scene especially makes me excited, but I won't say what it is.

Scored a goal as a midfielder playing football yesterday. Great first time shot from the left corner of the box into the far top corner after some good passing.
Scoring is an achievement for me, as I'm usually back at central defence or in the defensive midfield. My finishing tends to leave a lot to be desired.

Woke up at 3.30am to watch the Canadian GP. Not the nicest.
Race was predictable and business as usual for the first hour.

It came alive in the second half as the silver arrows had problems leaving quite a few with a chance to win.

Turns out that our Aussie, the smiling assassin steal the lead and wins his first ever F1 race.
Well done.

Well worth the effort as the sun slowly rises on a holiday Monday.
So long and thanks for all the fish

Holiday? Monday?  I think you are in a time warp.

Best part about Australia.  Every day is a holiday
For once I'm not working on the public holiday so I'm double happy. It's my turn to pretend to have a social life ;D
