Hey there,

Here are some of my pics, from a few months back (it's weird without having started HRT yet my face looks more femenine, also hurray for the now way longer hair, haven't seen the big difference before  :) ). I would like to what would be YOUR opinion on the procedures I should get done. I have had different recommendations from different surgeons and have my ideas of my own, but what about you girls out there?

Oh yeah I just want to have a female face, nothing in particular, just FEMME.

PS: Pics taken off for privacy after your kind comments.

I don't think you need surgery at all.

Once you get on HRT for a while, you may not need surgery. Even if you decide you do need it, your face changes a lot so worry about it then.

You do need to get rid of the facial hair.

Hugs,

Jen
To move forward is to leave behind that which has become dear. It is a call into the wild, into becoming someone currently unknown to us. For most, it is a call too frightening and too challenging to heed. For some, it is a call to be more than we were capable of being, both now and in the future.

I would get forehead, chin, jaw and Adam's apple done. The nose is pretty and the cheekbones are fine. My only doubt is about the nose, I am not sure if it's going to look out of proportion once the rest of the features are left smaller than now, but I like its shape now.

Thanks... Sigh so wish it was true :(!! I'd agree my forehead/fronto-orbital rim is kinda big and would need a type II or III procedure, that bony stuff won't change on HRT, same for chin and Adam's apple, it is huuuuge, way bigger than all the apples I've seen in every before/after pic on all websites and I've been told it cannot be made to disappear completely again and again by several surgeons.

The rest is up to debate, but it seems consensual that there is no real need for much more except maybe jaw. Some surgeons have been proposing stuff like nose or lip filling or cheeks and what not, and I was calling BS, seems it is BS indeed :). Dang saving that money seems real far away :(.

I know a natal female with a much much larger adams apple.

I'd love to see that, haven't seen one single person in all those FFS sites.
I'd feel so much less.... bothered by that!!

If you find someone with the front bossing bigger too, I'd be overjoyed :D

Girl, my ridges were 2X the size of yours.  And your jaw is tiny compared to what mine was.   Adams apple, about the same.

I cannot tell you how effective HRT will be.  Yes, you could very well need work on those areas.  However, tying all that togather with your HRT face is what is needed.

Thanks for the kind words of encouragement ^^.

I'd say... Forehead/browbone shaving, browlift, addam's apple, jaw and chin. Then let the hormones do the work, and we'll see where we are :)

Indeed, I shall be taking HRT for at least one year before, no question about it. I really think to forehead and apple should be added the chin though, I find it kinda large :).

Thanks a bunch for the input friendly girls, I shall now be taking the pics off for privacy.

Declan.

I know several cisgender women who have larger Adam's apples too, but I still recommend getting surgery for that because anyone who has a suspicion you're transgender is going to look to that for "proof." Not everyone understands that Adam's apples appear in both sexes.

Yeah I know, right? My family's girls have quite the adam's apple, so screw the nay sayers.
