I truly wish I could be in Washington D.C. for Cameron's appearance there, along with Bishop. Gene Robinson (the firstopenly gay Bishop in the Episcopal Church.) As a point of actual HISTORY, the Episcopal Church was an important instrument in the foundation of the United States. Old North Church made famous in The Ride Of Paul Revere fame of the American Revolution was an Episcopal Church, and according to the British at the time, it was on the wrong side, but that is history. The National Cathedral (aka The Cathedral Of Sts. Peter and Paul) is actually an Episcopal Church holding, in trust for the people of the U.S. and where clergy of other faiths are welcome to preach on other occasions. The National Cathedral has weathered a lot of controversy over its life, and has watched as the U.S. has gained strengths in Justice and Peace for its citizens, but for all citizens, and not just the ones who give themselves the office of self appointed busy body with no sense of history to speak of.
