Hello!  I recently had a stint of time where I was unable to get my T prescription transferred from the states when I moved back to Canada. I saw a new dr at a clinic today and he wrote me a new one.
Unfortunately the dose changed. Because it's a lower dose I would need to inject 2cc instead of 1cc.
Anyone have experience with this? Should I split it between two injections,  inject once a week instead, dump all 2ccs into one thigh,  or try to find a different dose?

I assume in the end it just means more oil in my thighs?

Thanks!

I also use the larger oil volume to T volume, but I'm on weekly injections so it's not really a lot of oil. You could inject into two different sites I guess but that'd make it hard to rotate sites. You can try doing to full shot into one site and see how you react....my advice, push the plunger down sssssllllloooooowwwww to inject the T. Remember you need to consult the prescribing doctor before you go from one injection schedule to another. (Ie. bi-weekly to weekly.) Talk to the doctor about your concerns over the oil volume, but yes pretty much more oil volume into your thigh is what it means in the end. Either more often or more at one time depending on what you and your doctor decide.

I think I know which brand you were switched to because I had to do the same when there was a testosterone shortage in Canada. I recently had to switch to the one that requires you to inject twice as much as I still do it every two weeks. It sometimes hurts a little more because of the extra volume going in, but it is not all that bad.

I had the same experience as deanh. When the shortage was over I was switched to a brand that meant I had to inject twice as much for the same dose. I was already injecting every week anyway. Shortly after that, my endo tested my levels and cut my dose in half. So I ended up injecting the same amount as I used to, it was just a lower dose.
