Its 3 am, i cant sleep and i'm trying to stay off my sleeping pill

Face red and swollen.  3 hours of galvanic has that effect on me.  TGIF and I can sleep in tomorrow after getting up early to watch the World Cup

i'm thinking why do i feel like this

I'm thinking I don't need or deserve anyone's understanding or acceptance and should learn to shut up.

Boss man wants me in from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. ....longer than what I originally thought I was going to work.  Oh well, I need the hours, and those hours can go towards buying a book that I have been interested in getting for a while.




Now I;m thinking that if I brought every book that's about reconciling homosexuality and Christianity, then I could never save up, lol.  Thankfully, there's a lot of good information about that online, and with me hating to read books so much, I may not get my money out of them.  I do want to read "Torn" though and "God and the Gay Christian" (though I'm more interested in "Torn").

Happy birthday Marcel!    Like the Kat says, don't sweat it, enjoy the day! Parents don't usually trash the child mom carried in her womb close to her heart for nine months and nurtured for years. They can act disappointed but they'll get over it.

I'm doing it via letters since I can organize what I can say and show that this isn't something that occurred to me overnight. They pretended that me being "lesbian" (they assumed it was this) means that its just a sexual orientation and didn't let me get short hair, more tomboyish clothes or even tattoos.

Yeah, I'm expecting nothing short of disappointment, denial and possibly taking me to a therapist. I'm more worried about my mother since I'm the only other "girl" in the family and she always wanted a daughter to get their hair done and shop with. This is basically telling her that she failed as a parent; she already feels ashamed of me not acting like the daughter she wanted.

It's always so unfortunate the way parent's and especially mom's take it as a personal failure when their child decides to do something that is outside of the expected norm. After all she did everything just right, how would she know or even be remotely responsible for your decisions about your own life? You need to convey that line of thought to her in a loving and respectful manner when the time comes.

Yeah, we're immigrants and transgender is unheard of so this makes it harder.

My grandpa thinks I'm gay? wtf? Like as in he asked me which gender I prefer today. I thought my love of women was well-established...
