Hi all,

in Czech Republic Neofollin injections are rarely prescribed (most transwomen here are on daily Estrofem or Estrimax pills) so hopefully I'll get a chance to discuss the mood cycle topic in this much wider community. Anyone else has or had something similar to the thing I describe bellow?

Wednesday: In the morning good mood even though estrogens levels are low but I guess there's placebo effect from the anticipation of another doze. At around 11 I get my injection (I can't and am not allowed to administer them myself; not that I would since I get dizzy at the sight of a needle :-) ) and within 2 minutes I start to get random laughters. This remains for the rest of the day along with great mood.

Thursday - Saturday: Continuous and stable good mood. Less and less frequent random laughters.

Sunday: Melancholic mood. I very easily start crying when I read/see/hear something emotional or recall something from my previous life.

Monday - Tuesday: Unstable mood. I can get mad or start crying very easily. For example last Tuesday I was quite mad at my boss since he messed with window-blinds (to explain that, my eyes are very light sensitive).

My therapist told me to expect a mood cycle when he gave me my first prescription on April 16th but he didn't say it would be so regular with such predictability. Anyone else with something similar? And perhaps some tips on how to be a bit more stable during the end of the cycle? I don't mind the moods as I know I live thanks to them. It's just my consumption of paper handkies can get really high during Sunday - Tuesday :-) .
Semi-blind asperger transwoman. But do I care? No I don't. I love myself :-) .
