Of course moxie may not win elections anymore. Today, the key to winning elections might actually be a firm grasp of the issues, and knowledge of what the public wants in a leader.

At the same high school interview, McCain revealed that he didn't know what LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transsexual) stood for and was against gay marriage and bringing troops home from Iraq. Recently, the immigration bill he championed in the Senate went down in flames and his campaign contributions have fallen by the wayside.
