Amadeus

Greetings and salutations to all.

My name is Amadeus.  I'm a thirty-two year old author and Libra.  I live in Atlanta at the moment, and I'm FtM.  I found this site via Google and I'm glad.  I'm also a member of a Facebook group known as Alphabet Soup Atlanta.

I'm pre-everything, mostly because I'm skint.  My therapist won't even discuss anything about transitioning until I have the money for HRT.  This troubles me, but there's nothing I can do about it, and Medican't pays for approximately sod all.  Doesn't help much since I have an anxiety disorder from hell.  I also have OCD, but that's actually been beneficial in some ways.

I live with three housemates who are very supportive.  My mates who know have no qualms.  Only my mother knows about my decision to finally accept and be myself; she seems okay with it, but then again, she's finally realised she can't tell me what I can and can't do any more.  UK English is my primary language, both written and spoken.  Mein Deutsche ist nicht sehr gut.  Mia Esperanto ne estas tre bona, ĉu.

It is my hope that through this forum I might gain information, knowledge, and possibly resources.  In time I hope I can do the same for others who are looking for help and answers.  Because that's what life is all about: looking out for each other.

And cake.  Because cake.

MMmmmm, cake. And cookies. But not the raisin-oatmeal ones that look like chocolate chip and fool you until you take a bite. Those cookies are evil. >:-)

Anyway... Welcome, Amadeus. I'm glad you found us too, the more the merrier. :D

I'd rather see the world from another angle
We are everyday angels
Be careful with me 'cause I'd like to stay that way

I concur wholeheartedly.  That is pure evil.  Well, unless you're that one git who mixes Skittles and M&Ms in a large bowl.  That is pure, unadulterated evil.

There is a special hell for those people, and people that talk during movies.

Yeah, I have to add another: vegans who insist that non-dairy cheese is really good.  No.  No, it isn't.  It tastes like anger.  My anger, caused by the vegan hippie git who talked me into eating said fake cheese.  Death to those who worship the False Cheese, for they are utter tosspots.
