SO ONCE AGAIN, if there is anyone reading this who has had type III with Dr. Cardenas, I would love to hear from you about your experience and results.

With all due respect, I think you're extremely harsh.

I disagree with calling surgeons derogatory names and bashing them, I also disagree with public slander, however, when one expressed doubts and questions things, which one is fully entitled to, and you close the thread in a heartbeat, the flow of information is stopped, we can't get any more answers, the discussion is impossible.

Rather than close threads, warn people, give them information, as people here have such a valuable experiences, if you proceed to close every controversial thread, the misinformation will spread immensely.

jgirl76 are you a member of the Yahoo FFS group? I am not sure if there is much relevant information there because I hadn't been there in a few years, but I do remember seeing some Cardenas photos there, but I cannot recall seeing any type III results but that doesn't mean there are not any there.

My sentiments as well... there was no unfair criticism in the last post, we simply can't find anyone who can attest to their type III experience with Dr. Cardenas.  My post requesting others to share their personal experiences is valid and should remain open. 
I had full FFS with Cardenas last month and I'm unsatisified with results and I'm attempting to determine if I will go bac to him for the revision or to someone else. PART OF THAT DECISION MAKING PROCESS is trying to find other patients, so again, appreciate your understanding. -J

There is a way to provide accurate information without slamming a surgeon though. You are all asking for respect to have this thread stay open then show some to the surgical teams as well. I would also like to remind everyone of the following Term of Service.

I'm a part of the Yahoo group as well, but it's been pretty dead over there. I'll probably try their again to see if I can find anyone who has had type III with Dr. C.  Thanks Hikari

Jessica, there was nothing in violation of TOS that was in the thread that was closed. And all I've done so far is re-open a post asking for patient experiences and Moderators have descended here immediately to begin policing. I would like to appeal to Susan, how can I do that please?

I believe a picture was posted that looked like type III, i.e. there was no forehead overhanging over the nose, but as far as I remember you questioned whether it's genuine. I'm pretty sure it is. I guess there's no better way of finding out whether he performs it other than contact him and say how you feel
