It sounds like your electrolyte balance is off.
A simple blood test will tell you.
They even call it something like electrolyte blood panel.
Doctors don't just scratch their head and tell you to have a nice day.
They send you to a specialist after they look up your symptoms and decide which one or ones you should see.
When symptoms almost get you somewhere but don't really apply because of other symptoms or what you tell them,
a red flag goes off and they either find out or send you to a specialist who can.
It's pretty rare that they will send you to a psychiatrist. A psychologist maybe.
And they are specialists also. A therapist is a life guide. A psychologist digs into your mental disorders if you have any.
If they think you need meds, they then send you back to your doctor or a psychiatrist.
If they can't figure you out, they keep digging until they find out or what you tell them changes.
If you tell them crap, then the answer comes out as crap; and you wasted your time and theirs.
If they couldn't help you, you'd end up in a medical journal read by most every doctor interested in your symptoms.
Pretty slim odds of getting an end diagnoses of 'I don't know'.
If your doctor isn't following up, then get a better one.
Take charge of your life, nobody else can do that for you.
