Dear Pro-Family American,
I need your help right now.
As I write, the House is preparing for a September 5 hearing on the
Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA). They scheduled the hearing
right after a holiday weekend so that most people won't be paying
attention.
Which is why it is vitally important that you help me defeat ENDA by
acting immediately.
Imagine a country where it's illegal to teach your children what the
Bible says about right and wrong ... where loving God's Word and
living out Christian morality could cost you thousands of dollars in
fines or even send you to jail.
That's the kind of twisted, immoral country America will become if Ted
Kennedy and his pro-homosexual friends in Congress get their way.
Next on their agenda is a plan called the Employment
Non-Discrimination Act or ENDA. It would force all employers with 15
or more employees to add "sexual orientation" to their workplace
rules, forcing devout Christians to give homosexuals special rights
that other employees don't have.
You may have heard of ENDA before - Ted Kennedy has tried many times
to ram it into law. So far, we have been able to stop him. But each
time, ENDA returned stronger and more dangerous than before. Kennedy
launched his fifth attempt just days after the September 11, 2001,
terrorist attacks. He took advantage of that horrible tragedy to try
to sneak his bill through Congress. We discovered his trick and were
able to stop him.
But now he and other Congressional liberals have launched still another attack!
That's why I'm writing you today. Without you, there's a serious
danger that Kennedy and the homosexual movement will win this time!
I need your help to stop this terrible assault on our children,
families, and the Biblical principles we love. If you will, here's
what I'm asking you to do:
First, sign this petition <

Please do this today so that I can make sure they are waiting for your
representative when he returns to Capitol Hill on Wednesday - right
before the hearing.
Second, forward this petition to all of your like-minded family and
friends, asking them to sign it also.
Finally, give the most generous gift you can, as soon as you can.
This will allow us to continue to oppose ENDA on Capitol Hill and in
the media.
If you do these three things right now, we have a chance of stopping
ENDA. But we must hurry! The hearing is on September 5. With the
Labor Day weekend, that means there is only one business day to act.
I need your petition right away so that I can make sure it is on
Capitol Hill first thing Wednesday morning.
