Ha! I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have hurt any more than my electro session yesterday, and at least it would have been over in 6 seconds as opposed to six hours...

I think I'd rather have another colonoscopy than do that, Grace!

The good news is that I currently only have about an hour's worth of beard remaining now and I won't need to go to that torture chair again until August.

The longest I ever did was 3 hours, 16 probe galvanic.  I'm turning into a wimp and only make 30 min appointments for my touch ups.

What I thought! Yikes! I have had fights with cholla cactus and lost, but it wasn't in the face.

Cactus don't hurt going in. It is definately coming out that is the painful part. When I saw this post especially about the face I cringed. I slipped in mud and fell on a group of prickly pear one time and that was in the butt and halfway down the legs and a a few in the arms' there were plenty of them to pull out and that was way worst than going in.

Is there a point in posting this in the Female to Male Transsexuals section?  We don't' generally get electrolysis.

fried  cactus is pretty good . I use is in my tortilla dishes. It's similar to green chile.

Can confirm cactus in face.  Was at E3K two days ago for a six hour full facial session with lidocaine shots.  End result: swollen, bruised, but hairless face.  Third session down, about three more to go!

Ouch. I'd rather be slapped across the face with a large trout!

I could arrange that for you, but I don't think it would get rid of many hairs.

Speaking of electro, has anyone had a dozen or so hard time survivors?
I've still got about a dozen that keep coming back, either that or new ones come out from the same area.
