I need realistic advice, and not what I want to hear. I had bad luck and was force into a "military occupation speciality" (MOS) that I do not enjoy, and I think it's not even a strength of mine. I will never use the skills I am learning in this MOS, and I think I'll end up wasting 3 years of my life. I hate everything about it to be honest. 3 years is not a long time though.

I could potentially fail out of AIT, try to get myself reclass to a MOS I can really do well. Most likely I will get chapter out since this my second AIT, and then I'll have either a RE-2 or a RE-3 (re-enlistment codes). I think I'll easily get a waiver when I try again because I would go back in as a nurse.

I don't care about the loans I have to pull out (main reason why I join the military), but I'll just do it so I could do a job I really enjoy.

I am trying my best to get through this training, but I keep on going back and forth to depression, and it's driving me crazy.

Is  my logic flaw?
