So the situation is quite complex, I'll try to keep it simple.

So I'm Venezuelan, I came out at 16, and since 18 I've been doing what any transgender in Venezuela can only do for transition, doing it yourself.

I suppose I will move after my education is complete, I started recently as I had deserted studying because depression, now I'm back (computer engineering); and it may be 4 years more needed; which would be around 5 years of HRT.

So let's think about this situation, I moved, but I'm just a recently graduated student in a foriegn contry trying to get the nationality; even if I had a job, and getting one would last so much, I wouldn't earn enough to pay for all the stuff needed to get HRT there. And I couldn't just, go to the pharmacy and get them, because I heard that in those countries you need prescription for anything.

Also I can't, just can't, I'd not even move if so, wait a YEAR for the "phychological tests" stuff to be done.

I'm poor currently, I'd suppose I'd be poorer in a country like that because our money is nothing compared; however here I have to pretend to be a guy all the time, not to be kicked from university and other things.

Please I want to move but I will not be able if I can't get my HRT there, I need it, I get badly depressed with no estrogen and blockers, and I was lots of aggression and vomiting before HRT, and dumber, because T puts clouds in my head, I wouldn't risk my emotional estability because now I'm so happy.

Hi, i am in the uk and have been self medicating, i keep a close watch on my health and check my blood pressure twice a day, it is however not a good idea and not something this site likes, i myself plan to get supervision, here in the uk you can either go through the nhs or you can go privately, off the top of my head privately would cost approx £250 for the first appointment, £130 for the second and for any further appointments, it also seems they will often give you a prescription on the second appointment so its a fairly quick route, nothing to stop you going privately whilst on the nhs waiting list either
