I'm pre-everything so my voice is not as deep as I would like it to be.

Holy crud, that little bit was pretty good and I would say it passes if you are young (teens/early 20s). I definitely wouldn't mistake it as a woman unless you look too much like a female. I'm not sure what you are doing, but I went through a phase trying to make my voice deeper and what I did was:
-Yawn wide, try to make a deep-ish noise associated with it. Remember the muscle control.
-Keeping the muscles in basically the same position, hum deeply and with your mouth closed.

I don't know how well this will work since I only did this after puberty struck, but if it does, your voice should be a bit deeper for a little while. Also, have you ever noticed how teenage boys, when their voice is deepening, they tend to jerk their head a little bit, facing slightly downwards? It's because it helps make that throat cavity wider and it makes a deeper noise come out.

But excellent job!

EDIT: I should point out that I was AMAB so I had a lot of testosterone with which to work.

I'm pretty young, I'll be 22 this Saturday. Some friends pointed out that I sound like a 12 year old boy.

I remember that, before I even knew I was FTM, I started to talk with my chest when I was around 12 years old.
Thanks for the tips, I just attempted them right now and I just woke up so my throat feels like I caught a cold.

You don't sound like a 12 year old, and I'm not one to be dishonest. But since the recording is short, I can't fully analyze how would I gender it. First impression is male but maybe a longer recording would help us give more insightful input and get to think about why people seem to mistake for younger. I don't think I would mistake you voice for a female, maybe for a bit younger, but not female. :)

how do you guys feel about my voice?

Thanks!! :)

EDIT: Oh, I just noticed you posted a second recording. To me, that's not a female voice. Male, total pass. You sound a bit younger, yes, but I wouldn't worry. Testosterone will make it gradually deeper. :)

Some more advice is work on monotone talking. I heard you pitch shoot higher while you spoke. Not trying to be mean. But give advice on the things I'm working to losing so i can gain my female voice . So I know the bad habits I had to stop useing which are the habits you need. But good job. Never can practice for to long lol.

Auroramarianna: 133 and 131 sound great! The others are too high and sound too "flat." (I don't know a better word.)

Your pitch is nice but its nasaly you should try focusing on breathing try exhaling your words it helps with a more passable voice

Hey everyone,
Can I please get yals opinion of my voice. I have been practicing for about 2 months now. And if someone can please check the average hz of my voice. The only thing I have right now is a spectrogram on my phone and it says I'm normally around 220 hz. http://soundcloud.com/krista-croy/sounds-from-tuesday-night

yes I personally believe your voice is at the high end of androgynous. So work on your pitch a little more and I think you got it.

if i was to give you a guesstimation, i'd say your at about 187 hertz on FV scale which puts you at a normal female voice.
