It's a sunny day in Oz. Clear sunny sky with my first g&t in front of me. Lunch with a good friend beckons with Chinese food to follow. Unfortunately a hard stop at 2pm for 3 hrs of galvanic.  Oh for a hair free face!

omg, a song from when I was a teenager came on for the first time in years. It's a beautiful song, and I like it, but it's associated with a really really bad time in my life. I didn't expect to hear it and when I heard those first notes, a chill ran through my spine and I felt like puking, as if I was 15 again.

Man no matter what happens in my life I will never be that unhappy again, that I know. Funnily enough, there's a line in there I used to tell myself: "there will come a day when all of this is in my past, and there will come a day when you're out of my head at last."

Thanks, LH!  This has made me so happy (and for the money I paid, it better, haha!  I feel like I'm slowly moving forward.  Granted, I still have a loooooong ways to go, but a little step is better than no step at all.

My stomach does not feel very good. =/

I wish I handled criticism better. A guy at work pointing out a big mistake I was making and he was absolutely right, I was being careless. And I am glad he was upfront and honest with me rather than just ignoring it and complaining about me to someone else. But at the same time, I'm being too hard on myself for the mistake - I feel really bad and like I'm a screw-up even though I am new at the job and have a lot to learn.

Better cut yourself a little slack hon, you need some time to learn the ropes and it's always nice to have someone looking over your shoulder giving you pointers early into a new job.

Long work day today.  Boss man wants me in until 9 and I start my shift at 11:30 with a one hour break.
