Thinking about the negatives of transitioning. I still want to do it but I can't help but think about how much more alienated I will be from my parents, what the neighbors will say and whether I will pass as a guy within a few months of taking T. I really need to stop overthinking this.

Yeah, he's a good guy and very good at his job. He was just trying to help me be better, not only for my sake but for the sake of the people I work with. And I respect his straightforwardness.
