Tomorrow I'm going to pride as myself. This will be my first outing, and I'm helping with a booth. I'm super nervous, but excited too. I hope I remember to use my correct name ha ha!

Any advice?

Erik

Woooooot! Tell us how it went after it's all done.

But yea just do it, the hardest part will most likely be before you get there, as soon as ya there you'll most likely have fun and find it easy.

I'll definitely update you all! I'm working the local trans groups booth, so once I make it that far I'll be in good company, but still kinda queasy thinking about it! It'll be fine though I'm sure!

Erik, you don't happen to be Swedish by any chance? If so, I wonder if we're going to the same pride tomorrow

I hope I remember to use my correct name ha ha!

My first time out I was meeting some people. I was waiting outside a restaurant for them, and while I waited they were down the street calling "Eva!" and I didn't hear them at first! It finally dawned on me that they were calling out to me!

Note to myself: Pay attention to your name!

Congrats on going out as yourself. It gets easier the more that you do it.

Okay, so pride was AWESOME! Being out today and being recognized as myself was amazing. I have never been more confident! Thank you all so so so much for your help, I was so nervous! I was called the correct pronoun a majority of the time, and made some great new friends. I am so so so so incredibly happy right now!
