Hello everyone!
My name is Jocelyn Rose (Due to be legally changed on 7/10!). Im 26 and live in New England! I am just finishing up my second month on HRT the day before my name change hearing. I have always felt feminine and all, and admired other transgendered folks I have encountered for their bravery, and I never thought I would have what it took to come out, but just recently (January) came out to my friends and family, which to my surprise went very well (minus my crying).. I went "full time" in March, shortly after my birthday. Everyone was shocked at work when I came out as a transgendered woman. I was the young guy who always had girls and parties going on, so needless to say it came as a shock to everyone, but once people wrapped their heads around that I am still the same friend, co worker or person essentially, it all just became normal. I have browsed the forum for quite some time before joining and it has been helpful to hear some of the experiences that some of you go through because most of my friends are the typical hetero guys n gals, and as much as they try to understand the situations I face on a daily basis, they just cant relate. I look forward to being an active member here and hopefully sharing and helping as much as I see some of you on here do!
