It's an older flick.  I got to watch it with my SO in the theatre when it came out and recently did another viewing.  A fun film.  Sure loved the costuming in it.

i remember seeing trailers for that movie back in the early 90s as a teen and I was intrigued by it....
i think there was an American inspired remake/version called 'To WOng Foo Thanks for everything'....starring Patrick Swayze and JOhn Lequizamo as drag queens

That was another really fun movie.  Both are worth the view.  I may have to go to Amazon tonight and do a movie marathon.

I have missed both of these. The search is on, sounds like some fun viewing.

One of my fav movies! I love the different personalities between the three main characters that makes them clash (or not clash) quite hilariously. The costumes were amazingly detailed - the make-up as well!

When I asked my American friends if they had seen it, they hadn't heard of it. I recommended it to them but at the same time, I'm not sure if they would understand crude nature of Australian humor.

But obviously my friends don't speak for the whole of America (or the rest of the world for that matter) so I'm delighted to see what others have thought of it!

Love the movie, by chance I got a media pass to see it back before it premièred, didn't know anything about it but went to see it with my 2 best friends, had no idea how to react when I realized what the movie was about, a little too close to home.

I saw them both when they came out. The Crying Game is another related film I liked a lot.

That was another excellent film.

There was one movie that had one scene that to this day speaks to me from across the years.  This scene from Mulholland Drive is absolutely riveting.  And while not specifically a T/CD scene, the costuming is gorgeous and I always felt like she was singing this song to me about me, for me.  Does that make sense?  Smile - maybe not.  But I get very emotional every time I watch it.
