I'm thinking about getting cornrows. I'm just worried people will think I'm tryna look a certain way. Why must certain styles have any kinda connotations?

I went to the endo and got weighed in today.  I couldn't believe that I had actually gained some weight when I was positve I must have lost a bit.  I eat well and don't eat a lot of carbs, I exercise (apparently not enough... le sigh), and haven't been drinking at all.  Long story short, I thought I was 20 pounds lighter than I really am. (I think it all went to mah butt...)

So, I'll dust off a Jill-ism for the day.

Flabbergasted- when you suddenly realize how much weight you've recently put on. 

i think i might give being a female a try again. felt out a place a little bit. i'm more of a tomboy type lol

You're over thinking and it's not helping you discover yourself. You'll never figure out your answers when everything's up in the air. Chill out and let the dust settle for a while and when it does the right path should be clear..then after that it's just a matter of following it and sticking to it no matter what.

To be honest, I kinda miss it. It's really not as bad as advertised.

eh, i know. just feeling highly uncomfortably so imma go out and try both spectrums and see if i can find some comfortability. overthinking seems to the only thing i'm doing these days. *sigh* 

bleh, now they've issued a hurricane watch for here. That sucks for people's fourth of july plans. Wonder if my brothers and their families are still coming down for the fourth. I'll wait til tomorrow before I worry about putting away outside chairs, taking down porch swings and such.

originally, it was supposed to just stay tropical, but now its going over more open warmer water, so its hard to say how strong it will get.  I just don't want the inconvenience of it, I'm not worried about damage so much.

I get that, you live in hurricane alley! I worked insurance claims there following Hurricane Fran a dozen years back up in the Raleigh-Durham area. I never knew for certain what direction I was going on that beltway, what a goofy highway system, the planners must have been drinking their lunch when they came up with that idea!

I'm thinking that I'm sad about the USA losing to Belgium last night, but I am also happy that I won't have friends urging me to binge drink with them on a Tuesday again anytime soon.

Cutting the beer out of my diet for good.  Too many calories!

No, he's a different guy. I feel kinda silly about it. I met him last thursday and he's one of the group of people I went to the anime convention with. I don't know how exactly, but we got interested in each other pretty quickly.
