She looked him dead in the eyes, water dripping from his brow. He ice cold stare sending panic throughout his body. He stepped back, she mirrored, widening her gaze to include his arms and legs. She began pacing, her heels clicking sharply with each step, never breaking her glare. Moisture continued to condense around him as he stared back at the dark haired girl, waiting for his chance.
"Now look, you could just tell me what I want to know." The Girl said.
"Or I could do this!" The Boy reied, swing his foot towards her skull faster than raging rapids, but his kick didn't connect. She caught his kick, yanking him off balance onto his back.
"Nice try, way too slow though," She taunted. "Next time, try a gun."
Just then the door burst open and a sandy haired teen walked in his shoe scuffing at the linoleum.
"Eliana, let's go. We're out of time... again." He snapped.
"Jace. Perfect timing, just like always." Eliana hissed, the venom in her voice biting Jace's demeanor.
"Just tie him up and let's go!" He demanded.
"Fine! Though next time you could try to give me more time, you know they are immortal right?" Eliana argued.
She bound the boy, leading him out to the car where they threw him in the trunk. As Eliana opened her door a black Corvette leaped onto the drive and sped towards them.
"Ok, time to go... now!" Jace yelled, throwing the car into gear and slamming the gas.
