Being succesful in trans, yet still snoring (and dream talking) like a man.

How does one define being successful in trans, which I assume means transition? I don't believe you can change your snoring but I hardly think its a giveaway. In any event, you would prolly have to pass well enough to be in a relationship for this to matter, in which case I guess you have been successful. Most cis het men or cis non-het women want someone who passes. No one likes to be stared at.

Cis women snore too so I really don't think that is a dead giveaway.

I can't tell the difference between my friend and his wife's snoring, so I don't think this is much issue there. Also they both snore and accuse the other and deny it themselves I wonder why that is, not like snoring is immoral.

Actually I made a little edit to the topic title. :D

I would imagine one would have to rethink their travel hotel accommodations when joining with a travel group. :D

.. which voice do you snore with?  ;)

Seriously, cis women snore too.. mine is louder than I am. Tho her "range" is a bit different.

Hmm, I guess sleep talking could be an issue. I sleep talk but the only reason I know is because of my BF. It's actually funny cause I'll ask him questions and he'll think I'm awake and then say all kinds of weird stuff. He said once he even had a conversation with sleeping me. But, if you change your voice, it shouldn't be an issue. I'm lucky in my voice is andro at worst and pretty femme or high-pitched at best. I believe it's like 170 MHz normally but I can take it to 220 by a simple adjustment, i.e. trying.

But yeah if you sound like a woman all day and then turn all barry white at night that could be an issue. I guess get your own room. I was in a really nice hotel a couple months ago but that's just cause the guy wanted to screw me and had roomates. Then he couldn't even get it up. My BF makes fun of him all the time for not being able to get it up, cause we were like on a break or whatever. But we have an open relationship. But I never even thought of this whole sleep talking thing, so thanks for adding another trigger, JK LOL

Can you imagine waking up to strange looks, at say, a camp ground. :D

I find that when I am to the point of exhaustion and sleep deprivation that I actually wake myself up with my own snores. Not from like sleep apnea or anything else but when I am extremely to the point of falling out that's when I snore.

I really used to be worried about and have recorded myself as long as the old casset tapes would record and normal sleep no snore, exhausted sleep, MY GOD, there are no words to describe it other than scary maybe? I thought about videotaping me at those times to make sure that there was no Demons from hell in the room with me making those sounds. ??? Also explains why I actually wake up from the sound.

Also I just noticed you changed it and another thing I notice when to the point of exhaustion is that I talk a lot in my sleep, some I can make out others I can't.

Yeah I'm kinda' on a Black Sabbath kick because I am mixing them into gigs pretty hot and heavy and constantly practice the song NIB along with all the other Sabbath/Ozzy songs. I really like the part when Ozzy sings before the solo, "My name is Lucifer, please take my hand." In my mind while playing it I always think, "My name is Luci, please take my hand." and it gets me get a little more into the solo.

I've never exerienced sleep talking but my ex snored like a freight train!! I kid you not when I say she used to rattle the rafters, I would't be concerned about snoring.

Just talking it like yelling and stuff? Because I couldn't see the talking as all that harmful, not like people sound normal when they are asleep anyway.

That really depends Hikari. If you are sleeping with someone but dreaming or someone else and saying their name. Or if the one your are sleeping with starts asking you questions while you are talking in your sleep and you answering those questions. The next morning you may be in a buttload of trouble.
