Are you serious, Megan? LOL u just gave me the biggest smile. Thanks for that!! I really was feeling very down the last couple of days with the quality of my voice now when I say a few words being pretty crap but hope it's due to all the points I put above and possibly tiring out the voice with a few more words than I should have been saying too....I easily went over the '2 to 3 words' when I was testing it..though I was super careful to be the most gentle I could be with the smallest amount of air for it to come out clear!
Yes, I'm serious. It was my first thought

Got a flashback to Crime Night on Discovery. The one day in the week, Thursday, where I would actually watch the tellie.
You are very welcome

Since Yesterday morning I've not said a word and I've decided to not say a single word for another couple of days to give it a total rest and see if that improves things. Also might be lucky in that the effect of the Botox might start wearing off a bit lessening the excess breathiness making it very hard for words to come out nice and crisp in the upper range (like they did on day 7..incredibly!)...which is where my voice feels most comfortable being now obviously...though I can still go low...but it feels less comfortable..very strange sensation..more on that later. Still hoping for few others to give their thoughts but not many so far, boooooo!
Hey, come one people give it up for Gigi here!

) I bet you are quote anxious to get some feed back. The excitement and the insecurity of the healing process kicked in much?

I thought it was lovley, could hear the "roughness" had been shaved off, and it was much more clear.
I'll probably go totally crazy my self in three weeks time, haha!

So the last week I've been chomping on pomegranate, blueberries, goji berries (researched my super fruits!), walnuts, aloe vera drink...interestingly the same I discovered in Korea, Tesco here in England have just started selling it, so happy, you have no idea...I thoroughly recommend drinking that if you get bored of water...actually I recommend it over water personally....the brand is 'Grace' but there are several brands in Korea so u can go for any....tastes great and filled with tonnes of bits of actual Aloe Vera. If you already know about Aloe Vera, you'll know the many health benefits it has, among which soothing and anti-inflammatory properties and I really think it's a great thing to be washing around over the surgical area post-op. Maybe that's part of the reason my voice sounded so clear and crisp on day 7, who knows..I lived on the stuff over there and now I'm able to carry on drinking it in massive quantities here too. Even when this is all healed I'll continue because Aloe Vera is so healthy. As well as sipping on 2 or 3 bottles of that a day, ive just made myself a ginger tea by boiling fresh ginger root and adding honey......it's a tad spicy as we know...but not enough to irritate, I'm pretty sure...and again....both ginger and honey have great properties that likely benefit our healing. So even though I've never pigged out on junk food all the time like some people I know, I'm suddenly
becoming a major health freak...and yet I'm genuinely loving it...been doing this for a week or so and i swear I'm starting to feel different..genuinely feel glowing today!!!
I know those fruits and berries and I love them

we have this place called Smoothie Exchange where I work, and I'm such a sucker for "go green"

We have become health nuts here :p I usually put frozen bananas in the blender with coconut milk/almond milk and make ice cream of that, topped with blue berries and raspberries.
The only "poison" I must have is coffee, so it's going to be quite interesting being without it for two months. Yep, I'll call it detox or even rehab, but I can already see a major relapse when the two months are over.

Sending looooads of luck for your op anyway...go get em...you'll be fine!! Strangely I had zero nerves at all during the build-up...it was literally only when I was sat in the recovery room waiting for Dr. Kim to pop in for our chat just before being taken to the operating room that I suddenly thought 'Oh ->-bleeped-<-!' and I genuinely freaked a little. But you'll be waking up in what feels like seconds..and just remember to keep asking for ice cream..keep pressing that call button haha..the nurse couldn't be sweeter about it as I wrote in an earlier post
..it's the one thing that totally numbs that horrible burning/cold symptoms sensation you'll likely feel for the first 2 or 3 hours after waking up until it subsides.
Thank you so much

So excited, freaked and eager at the same time. As I type this it's only 19hours 52minutes and 21 seconds to take off.

Maybe I'll be sitting examination room 3 on Monday too.
Going to try and make some voice samples before it's gone for good. Haha! I wonder if I'm ever going to be able to impersonate Gollum again.
Big hugs
