Ok, so I want honest opinions if HRT for the last 4 months has done much.  I hope I can be this beautiful girl I see myself as.  Here is my 4 month, small transition photo collage.  Start Bottom left, Upper left, Upper right, Lower right.  With additional photos throw in, thanks.

This picture is before HRT by about 2 years.

You softened up a lot. I can imagine shoulder length hair with some broad curls towards the ends........

Thank you ^-^ yes I would love some long loose curls.  I have naturally wave hair with light curls.
I'm just waiting on the day I have my first boyfriend :D

I felt fabulous today :).  Went shopping with my mom today to take advantage of some big sales.  My hair was completely shaved off in October, but HRT completely filled out the annoying halo I had forming on the crown of my head.  It's so nice to finally have my own hair back, though I did enjoy the wig I have as well.   I lost 25 lbs since then, as well and 10 more lbs to reach my goal.  I'm really starting to see Stacy looking back at me in the mirror now and it's wonderful!

Okay, picked up a lot of pretty clothes this Fourth of July from both Salvation Army and Goodwill.

First Salvation Army. Notes about them, store very clean, even the bathroom. That was the good. The bad, seeing them ruin clothes with staples. Why in the hell would those morons think that stapling price tags was a good idea!?

Short top, I never go this short because I get paranoid about showing my crotch area, that thing does still sometimes gets hard and even though it has yet to visibly bulge out, it still makes me nervous, but I couldn't resist, love the color and pattern, had to get, besides can't beat 99 cents.

Mom saw this one, showed it to me while laughing about the silliness of the pattern, I said, ooh, that's me right there!

One my mom picked out for me while I was trying stuff on, tossed it over the door and said, here, try this one on - I likes, hugs my curves nicely.

This dress looked comfy and feminine, comes down a little low on the breasts but figured I'll chance it, because it looked pretty on me and my mom agreed. Only problem, price stapled to it, created small holes that I don't think can be fixed, material is too thin and stretchy, stupid morons ruining pretty clothes like this.

Close up (I do have to find some way to tighten up those straps though, my right boob being so small keeps trying to come out).

This very long demin dress is definitely something that would look good on my figure, shows every curve, plus the slits along the sides allows me still plenty of freedom of movement with my long leg strides.

Goodwill finds. This place had a ton more clothes, but prices are higher and more doesn't equate to better condition, plus too many things in too small sizes that most of the really cute stuff is out of my size range. Dressing rooms were nasty, floor, walls, and ugh, terrible smell. But I found some pretty dresses so I beared with it.

Cute little dress, shortest one I ever owned, makes me feel young and pretty. Wearing this one today and never felt so girly. I feel better today than I had in a very long time.

Something pretty and wow, I never had a dress or any clothing this nice! Where am I going to wear something like this? Who cares, I love it!

Oh my gosh, this is just so pretty, oh and love the netting type stuff attached to the slip underneath. But after when I got it home I now notice flaws I hadn't seen in my excitement when in the store, firstly the seam in the back below the zipper needed to be stitched, mom fixed that. But then later I notice several ever so slight yellowish stains, oh no! Mom tried to remove them, material frayed at one of those spots, made a hole, my throat dropped to my heart. Thinking it ruined too much and trying to keep me from being tortured further by it she tossed it in the trash. But several minutes later I took it back out again, I just could not let this one go, there has to be some way to fix it. If I can just mend the hole the stains aren't really that bad. Its just too pretty to give up on.

Not that I should not shop at those places, because I am happy with what I found, I'm just going to have to eyeball things more critically next time and any times thereafter.

You look so beautiful in all the pics but the ones of you in a dress are just so much you!! I wish I could say the same for me.

I do like the first few outfits but to tell you the truth they make you look a bit frumpy....yes they are cute but your even cuter, the tops are something I would wear and there is nothing wrong with them but its almost like your not dressing for your age..... and what I mean, is that they would look good on some old lady like myself, not some young hipster like yourself :) Though the first tank would look better with some cute cutoffs!

Oh and I just love Goodwill!! But their prices are a bit high lately, I find just as good of deals on the clearance racks at Kohl's.

^ Young hipster? Far from hip, and have never been a genius with fashion, its hard for me to pick out clothes. I likes all though.  ;D But I guess I get that a lot, and I guess that's a good thing that I still look so young.  :) But I'll be 40 near the end of this month.  :-\ Am I really still young? Certainly not old, but I'd think young would be under 30. But thank you, compliment taken with a big smile on my face.  ;)

Age is just a number! There aren't too many 40 year old women that can wear those dresses like you!!

I think I have fairly good style, just wish I could see colors better. I definitely don't dress my age and I'm older than you....and dirt. But I also don't dress too young, even though I don't have much of a midriff I still would never expose it intentionally....now my sister of 53 doesn't think its weird to show off her midriff and its bigger than mine sure she does have a fairly decent shape especially for her age but.....I just don't think its proper once your over 40 or so....even if you do have a rocking body!!

I still wear some skater skirts and I love yoga pants but I also see women with the same shape and the same age or older than me with similar outfits.

I agree. Its just a number. True age is what you feel within. On my good days I feel like I'm still a teenager, on my bad, well I feel ancient despite not looking it.

I wear whatever I think looks good on me and is comfortable. I have just recently started branching out since this past Friday. Those dresses for instance, never had nor worn such variety of styles, I'd always stuck with simple, very basic stuff before, so I think I'm finally getting more in touch with my feminine side, or should I say finally letting it loose. A girl shouldn't hide away like I had so many years, guess I got used to it even after getting on hormones when I first did so long ago, just out of habit, so this girl is waking up, showing off, feeling happy.  :)

I know you both Megan and Shelly and either of you would look gorgeous even if it was in a flour sack dress. I'm biased and have good taste in classy looking women!  :icon_bunch:

Megan, you look so pretty! I say this with love, that I envy you as you look close to my self image and I'm around the same age. I wish I'd been given the opportunity to come out earlier. I don't think I'd have the chance to go shopping and dress up with my mum. You're so lucky. :-*
You make me smile!

Everything looks great on you Megan! I shop at Goodwill, Salvation Army, and other thrift stores as well. I have a little short dress similar to the one your showing. It's absolutely my favorite thing to wear! (besides my lbd). The tank and shorts, well, that's sort of my every day uniform, so to speak, here in Florida it's just too hot for unnecessarily long stuff or sleeves at all to me, and I have no problem hiding what little I got. Besides, despite my age I still look pretty good in clothes like this, and I feel pretty when I wear them.

Your very beautiful Megan. I feel happy too when I see and read your posts.

I felt fabulous today :)

And you look fabulous too, Stacy.  That's quite a classy, breathtaking transition, and the black-and-white outfit looks wonderful.  Inspiring results, and you should be very proud.  (Awesome that your mom went shopping with you too - she sounds cool.)
