Sounds like you may be getting past the panic attack phase. It must have been horrific, I know I still get all teary eyed whenever I see a film clip of that event.
I think I am, finally. Still have difficulty with stories, movies and articles about the actual event. Good to have my city back, even though I live well north now. So many old haunts I kinda missed even when my PTSD was at its worst.
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

I was in Indianapolis at a seminar when it happened. Called home and my spouse said, "Come home, I'm scared!" Drove home to Seattle, Washington in two days flat, got a ticket in Montana of all places going between 95 and 100 mph. I paid the cop cash and told him to not piss it all away in one place. He knew that I would never return to Missoula to contest it and said, "Smartass!" As soon as I was around the bend I turned the wick back up to 100 mph. The whole country was traumatized back then!

Well, more yesterday than today, it's still kinda early.

I was in Manhattan on 9/11 and haven't been able to go south of 14th without a panic attack since.

Yesterday we went to Economy Candy in the Bowery for hopjes, then to Chinatown, then down to the foot of Manhattan and over near the Freedom Tower. No panic attacks! After that we went up near Columbia to the Hungarian Pastry Shop for pastries and coffee. On the way home we stopped at Sephora where I got samples of six new moisturizers and a new beard cream, (I still have to shave :(  ). It is SO GOOD! My face feels so smooth and the stubborn spot on my neck is smooth, too! What a wonderful day!
What is "beard cream?" I still have a few grays I must still shave and these razors are tearing up my skin.

It's a cream and comes in a jar. It looks kinda like cold cream. You use it instead of shaving soap or shaving cream. This one is from "Jack Black" and it's called "Supreme Cream". I've only found it at Sephora. It's a bit expensive, but I've never gotten such a close shave from a razor and not a single nick.

I was awakened by a knock on the front door. It was the mailman. My two Autopsy CD's and my My Dying Bride CD had arrived. So, that's a nice way to start off the day.  ;D

Oh, thanks. I was hoping it was a hair remover suitable for use on the face and neck. I guess pretty soon it's break out my tweezers cuz I already have enough facial scars from my accident. I don't need more induced by my still having to shave some patches of skin.

Are they the show Autopsy that used to be on HBO? I used to love that show but it's never on anymore.

LOL

No.

Not DVD's.

CD's of the Californian Death Metal band Autopsy.

Here is one of their "newer" songs. Well...a song they have done since they reformed: "Mutant Village". One of their best and a fun one to actually sing along to (rather than just doubling the growling Death Metal style vocals).

Cool, thanks for giving me a listen. Not bad. I'ma little more into Nightwish(pre 2005) and Epica, also Therion but every now and then this girl loves to walk on the wild side.

Love it! Cool! I have everything they've done including some bootlegs. I love the way they mix the opra with metal of all types and ranges. Back when I was able to play music this is the kind of stuff I was working toward as far as original songs and such. You got good taste Laura!

Here's one of my favorite Epica tracks (I hope I do this right - never posted a video before.

Today I had my checkup with my HRT doctor at 7 months in HRT. Everything looked good and decided to switch to injections on the estrogen (estrodial valerate) and started to learn how to self-inject. 2 more sessions and I'll be able to do it on my own in August. Now things will really kick in :)

Last night my therapist emailed me the first draft of my HRT letter and I posted it here for comments. This morning I edited it and sent it back.

Update: four hours later the letter was on its way to the endocrinologist.

I'd have preferred the other to be Belgium-Netherlands myself.
Belgium-Germany would have been a great final, what with neither of them using proper fullbacks and their counter attacking styles.
I really just want Vert, Thibault, and Dries Mertens to date... >.<
Hey, you've reached Lauren's signature! If you have any questions, want to talk, or just need a shoulder to cry on, leave me a message, and I'll get back to you.
