I've been struggling so long but it's clear to me now.  I am a woman and I always will be.

I am so happy for your self realization moment and that you accept it fully! You have transcended the norms expected of us by society and I congratulate you for it. The Shania Twain song "feel like a woman" has new meaning to the both of us now. No more guilt or shame just celebrating it fully.

What's ironic is I've spent the last 24 hours in complete despair and doubt.  I hate my brain.

I think it's entirely natural to experience a lot of skepticism when reaching such a profound realization of the true self. I know I had my periods of questioning, doubt, and sleepless nights, but in the end it served to solidify my confidence in who I really am. It'll all sink in with time.
