How long after starting T (or before starting T for some people I guess...) did you have any surgeries?

On a scale of 1-10 (1 being meh, 10 being a LOT) how did your dysphoria improve when comparing how it was on just HRT as compared to post-op (top or bottom, or both, don't care, just curious in general)?

I started T a little over a year ago and I have no idea when I'll ever get surgery while it's super expensive and I have no way of coming up with that kind of money. I would have to at least be in college or even out of college so I can somehow get covered or land a job.

If I could tell you though, like if I got surgery tomorrow (top surgery), my dsyphoria would probably improve by a 5 or so. I'm not completely devastated by my chest but it does get a little tough around summer time. I love going to the beach but I also hate the idea of it just because I can't take my shirt off and relax.

As for bottom surgery, I'm not really sure on that one. I haven't thought much about it much. Top is more of a priority for me.

Pretty much 2 years to the day after starting T, I had my top surgery.

My dysphoria improved by leaps and bounds when I started to change from the T - but before surgery, my overall dysphoria would have been about a 5 - after surgery, it's probably about a 2 or 3.

I had top surgery and hysterectomy 1 year and a half after starting testosterone.
Pre-op and on T my dysphoria would have been about a 6-7, after surgery I'd say it's down to about 3.
Top surgery - logically - decreased my top dysphoria down to 0^^ I also used to have a lot of bottom dysphoria but surprisingly hysterectomy solved a lot of that.
