So I had my surgery back in November and when I started takeing my HRt my endo asked me to stop provera just continue with premarin but I feel weird like not as feminime not sure if that has anything to do with it also my body does not seem as tight but maybe is just me.. Anyone feel the same should I continue using progesterone..??

My endo actually added progesterone after my surgery,  had me on  Provera first but I was having some issues so I was switched to Micro p/prometrium and I've been good since.  Imo I think endo's all to commonly take the safe route as just prescribing us similarly to menopausal women,  mine did similar,  prescribed me half at first and I had no energy at all then per my request and through watching my Labs increased my meds and everything come back to normal.  You sometimes have to speak up for your own well being,  also from hat I've heard I'd prob look into another hormone than Premarin,  as there are far better med with less risks, and JMHO

My endo swears by bioidentical hormones and uses nothing but.  I take a progesterone cycle and will continue to do so after my orchi tomorrow.  Breasts tend to develop even more after testosterone is removed from the equation, so anything and everything to help them along is appreciated.

8 more hours and *poof*- they're gone! 

When I discussed progesterone with my endo (who is supposedly one of the most knowledgeable in this country) she said "You don't need it because you don't have a uterus." and she wouldn't prescribe it but she knows I take it anyway and doesn't make a stink about it.

I took a fairly high does of progesterone about a year ago (to simulate pregnancy) and discovered it can have a MAJOR effect on moods. I had to discontinue the program after six months because of depression. (I also had most of the symptoms of pregnancy, many of which are no fun at all LOL!)
