I have an IS condition, and also have very hard to access, thin veins that lie deep under the skin. At my last HRT appointment, when drawing blood, the phelmbotomist was like you have such thin, deep veins. She didn'tsay anything about it being a male/female thing. There are plenty of women with bigger veins. Also, I'm tiny all around in general, and have always had above average fat for a MAAB. In 2003, I had a disease and had to administer biotherapy (same as chemo, but using biological substances in huge doses) and I had to do it myself. When I went to the oncologist's office before starting, the nurse showed me how to adminster the drug. She must have noticed my fat thighs though and said that men have to administer this drug in their stomachs cause that's where the fat it, too bad you're not a woman, then you could stick it you thighs, like a woman. It's so much easier. Then she was like, but, if you don'tmind, just pull your pants down some cause ti looks like you don't have very muscular legs. Then she granned my thigh skin and was like, wow there's plenty of fat on your thighs. You can just do it there, like a woman. Lucky you.
At this point in my life, I had accepted I was trans and then took it back. I have always known about my condition but hoped things would change. So I was like great, not only do I have B cup boobs everyone points out when a shirt is too tight, but also I have womanly thighs. I have stretch marks all over my thighs and my boobs and have since puberty.
But in the absence of any other markers, I would just think nothing of it. Also, I think my veins have feminized from the HRT and havent always been so deep and thin. Don't know. BTW, I do not have Kleinfelter's. I have De La Chappele syndrome and was born with ambiguous genitalia. It's really nothing and I consider myself trans, as I'm transtioning whether from I to F or whatever.
Really, I think in one aspect it validates my transition in my head, but really, it's only in my head. I think if you feel you need to transition, then you should transtion. There doesn't need to be a reason beyond having GID. If you have GID, then you should consider HRT, as it could improve your life. You only live once, and why not make it the best as you can!
