Yup, there are a lot of cis women that look just like a dude, so that is a valid pass!  ;D

Yupp!

Woman who looks like a dude = woman.

Dude who looks like a woman = dude.

I went full time last week and as I walked down the main hallway at work I passed right by a few people who I have known for a long time. I waved and said Hi as we passed by each other and they stopped to introduce themselves to me not knowing that I was the transgender person who was on the tip of everyone's tongue at work. They really didn't know and the look on their face when I said my full name was beyond priceless. I have the same last name as I did before but it's a unique last name so there's no way that two people in the same place here would have it. This was the moment when I knew that I'm doing just alright.

A close friend has childhood friend from Kentucky and her now wife come up to NY to get married and she had never met me before. We all wend out and celebrated and they wanted to visit some of the gay bars in the West Village. We spent the whole evening out dancing and drinking (I didn't drink much since I don't really drink, but did lots of dancing.) Anyway at the end of the night (or should I say morning 3:30am in the morning.) She started asking about how long my wife and I had been together. My wife commented that it started out as a straight relationship from the outside prospective even though our sex life was always lesbian oriented. She had this really confused look and I told her I was transgender. I showed her old pictures of my on my phone and she didn't believe me. She was in total shock after we all confirmed it. She was like good for you and gave me a big hug!!!

Personally after all the talking loud and everything and my voice getting tired, I thought for sure my voice would give it away, but evidently even with a lower pitch voice with feminine resonance I was able to maintain, my voice passed fine.

It gives me joy to hear all of your victories.  I choose to say im androgenous as I dont feel I can tell someone how to perceive me. Id like to look a female as I can but have to accept reality with my size and physical drawbacks.  That being said I get ma'amed, he, she, her, him but most of the time just hey you and dont take a chance.  Ive been called sir out of spite while in a leather corset and ma'am in a thick winter jacket with a hat on.  Its all perception from an individual basis.

I was at The Lounge (cafe where I live, people read their rubbish writing while you drink rubbish caffeine, yeah I only go there cause there's this girl who isn't all that rubbish, more on that later) and I actually had a Freudian Slip! This guy came up to me he's like "Man, you come here every day and I still don't know your name, so uh what's your name?" And I looked at him and I felt my brain go back 8 or 9 years and I told him my name was Aria, I felt so embarrassed but luckily my sister was with me and covered for me by looking at me and going "Yeah James? What you need?" (Her real name is Lillian) If I didn't have my little sister I have no idea what I'd have done. Well anyways the bloke got a bit tempered that I'd ignored him (or seemed to have ignored him) and the rest of my day was quite rubbish as well, except that there was this girl but as I've said before, different story, different thread

Okay, I jut really wanted to brag about this.

5 different accounts of my hospital visit:

1) The triage on intake of ER asked when my last cycle ended, and I said I don't have one. She gave me a curious look and asked why not?

2) The ER nurse wanted me to give a urine sample. She shoed me how to sit on the bed pan and offered to help (I turned her down). So I gave her a little bit and asked what it was for, she said it's a pregnancy test. I said "Sweetie, come here. I'm transgender, I guarantee you I'm not pregnant". Her response: "Oh... so let me get this straight, you have.... no... ovaries?" I said that's correct. "Wait, so you have a male.... anatomy?" Yep. She did the pregnancy test anyways, lol. I was negative

3) The ER resident wanted to check for rectal tone, so he had to stick his finger up my butt. I warned him before he did it that I'm a pre op transsexual, and I didn't want to surprise him. He said "We've seen a lot, nothing it's nothing I can't handle. I would've been surprised for sure, though..."

4) The ER neurologist came in and asked why I'm taking Spiro. I told him that I'm transgender. He said, "Oh... I had no idea. That's the second time this week that's happened to me".

5) The attending came in one day with this pretty big smile that she was trying to contain the day they announced the finding on my brain mri. I said "Well you're smiling like you finally figured something out". Literally the first thing she said was "Yeah, first of all i wanted to tell you I had NO idea you were transgender. It's very rare that one cannot tell, but I really didn't know. You fooled me well! You look great!! You do a great job!" and then she announced my findings.

And not 1 time the entire visit did anybody struggle with a pronoun. Nobody said h....she, nothing.

Edit: The ER was trying to get me a room, they were bound by hospital policy to put me with men. However, they made a room available in the protective custody ward (prisoners) and I had a room by myself on the top floor looking over the city, and right at the Superdome. All because they didn't feel comfortable sticking me in with a guy.
To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person you are.

Mega multiple passes Alaina, you deserve bragging rights for that experience hon!  :eusa_clap: :icon_bunch:

Btw, that would never happen for me unless it was some hardware store dufus that didn't know the difference between a pipe nipple and a real nipple.  :D

When you hear from a female friend that you were identified as a MILF by her son's college friends. And kudos to him, he knew and didn't say anything to them.

Well;
I don't know if this is anything to brag about, but last night this Australian chick (me) was in a small US town Banning in California with gorgeous woman (Breanne) having dinner in in Chillies (I think that how you spell it) restaurant and I think over dinner as the place filled yup we must have been both called "Maam", "you two women", "hi girls" etc at least 20 times. Even in the ladies room two young women were discussing some fling they had both had with this guy  and  I made a flippant remark as I was doing my hair that "you should dump the guy" and there are better men out there, and both agreed without a shadow of recognition. It always amazes me how I seem to pass so well. Mind you being with Breanne who looks 100% female helped my cause as well. I just cant get over how gorgeous her figure is. Mind you she is living and working full time as a woman

Shantel;

I have learnt over the years three key things:

1. Be confident
2. Never look down
3. Smile

Mind you it does help that I have nno Adams Apple, small hands and feet and always wear dresses or skirts. Mind you in Banning most women were in Jeans or Shorts although I was in a Red sleeveless top and black skirt and boots, but I felt a million dollars!
