So yesterday I was out with my mom and I got mistaken for a 10 year old, And I mean my gender dysphoria hasn't been that big of a deal but my lack of facial hair and inbetween voice is really starting to bother me, My cousin looks like more of a man than me and some freshmen who I know. It bothers me that I am a senoir but look like a 8th grader or even younger...... And I am worried that my friends are going through hormonal changes and I am gonna notice it hen I go back to school.

I admit to thinking you were much younger than you said. I am not always so very correct at these things though.

You def don't look 10.  You look like a 16 or 17 year old guy to me.

Really? That's what my crush said. I just don't like the lack of facial hair.

From all the different pics you've posted in various threads, I'd say you pass anywhere from 14-16, even 17. 10 is crazy, if you told me you were 10 I wouldn't believe you. But I do think there's plenty of times people completely guess age wrong. When I was 14 I somehow passed as a college student, it was just a one off thing. Now I am usually mistaken for a 12-14 year old which sucks big time.

As someone about to go to college, I totally know what you mean. All the guys around me are growing beards and are very masculine in their voice, and it's really painful sometimes for me to be around them. I try and imagine it's like I'm just a late bloomer, and it makes me feel a little bit better about it.

I've become resigned to the fate that I will never look my age. I've known people who remained bitter about it for years and years, as well as much older folks who welcome this shift towards appearing closer to their true hormonal and mental age. I hope that I will be compensated for decades of this discomfort by the time I'm 50, and guys that made fun of me in the past will now come to say, lucky me.

I like to casually but intentionally make reference to my full time job when meeting new people, just so we don't start on the absolute wrong footing.

Declan.

I can't tell from your profile picture. I would probably guess 14-15 based on that, but 14 at an absolute minimum.

In the pics I've seen I would have guessed late teens or early twenties.

I always assumed you were a senior in HS or starting college.

Well I have good genes anyways, I just want to go through the right puberty, I won't really age even if I had been born a bio male, I won't really age.

You honestly look around 15-16ish to me judging by the profile picture alone. Though, about that facial hair thing, it made me think of a picture I once saw somewhere:

I actually thought you were about 17!

I haven't seen a 10 year old around with guns like those!

"You all know, don't you, that if people are frightened very often, they sometimes become invisible."
"Fear is a terrible thing,' Moominpappa thought. 'It can come suddenly and take hold of everything, and who will protect all the little creatures?"
