Some reason I never need a hook to go fishing. The bottle bass stay where I put them making them easy to catch.

I'm playing with concepts in my head so I'm thinking about what gender and gender identity would mean in a world where it's possible for a single person to simultaneously exist in multiple totally customisable bodies at once and what they would mean for multiple individuals simultaneously existing in a single body. I expect I'm just going to confuse myself.

Have the day off after getting back yesterday from an long work trip which went well in Manila.
After being there for a month I realise now that someone will have to go over again, this time for 3 to 6 months to oversee the change which is not what is currently planned, they only think 2 weeks is required. Little do they know. I suppose I will tell them this when I go into to work tomorrow. See how they take it as I will be the likely candidate to do it.
Could be a good career move? Not sure, but while I was away they did come to realise just how well I do a hard job.

There's a giant secret list of things we aren't supposed to talk about in most places, and some things we aren't supposed to talk about anywhere ever. I'm a little annoyed that humans are so social and still can't get to a point where we have more healthy and easily-inferred rules about communication.

I'm also thinking that it's kind of nice not to have access to a fast computer. I have to decide really carefully what I want to spend my internet time on, and I get more out of the activities I choose.

I used to do that. It's really time-consuming and unpleasant and you deserve all the props in the world for being however functional you are.

I'm thinking about how much I would love to be able to find better ways to want food and sleep when I'm not feeling great. I have to get up in like four hours and I know I'm going to be super slow on the uptake until (hopefully) getting a good sleep tomorrow night.
