'The Prime Minister of Australia has told his Liberal party MPs that he does not believe gay and lesbian couples should be given the same rights as heterosexuals.'

And this is why God created guns - no further communication required.
That was a big FU up front and in your face. No obfuscation, no unnecessary verbage or tweaking of message there. Question is, what are they going to do about it? If they reply nothing, they get what they deserve. Those unwilling to fight for their rights don't deserve any.

The funny thing about Australia is that the liberal party is actually full of reactionaries with Howard waving the big flag of hate... If you look at all their politics, they're just about the same as the republicans.

Hopefully, they will be kicked out soon.
