I'm not exactly sure if I should post this here or elsewhere, so I'm sorry if it is in the wrong place.

My question - Should I lose or gain weight before getting on hormones?.

I'm currently not on hormones and I probably won't be for a few more months as I still have to go through therapy and see a doctor. I am just curious if it would be better to gain more weight or to lose weight. Currently I weigh around 135-145 lbs range, it goes up and down in there a lot. I'm 5'7" 1/2 to 5'8".

I'm not built and the only muscle I have isn't really visible at all. I'm not skinny nor am I overweight. I'm pretty much would you'd call average.

Thank you to anyone who can help answer this sort of question or give advice.

If You do not have male pattern fat deposits, then it is better to gain weight after You start HRT - at the present momsnt You could just do some medium cardio to tone down muscles/fat and keep Yourself fit.
