So I have a couple pairs of jeans and am planning on expanding that. Especially because they are starting to wear out. A friend suggested I try American Eagle and am needing some help with the cuts. I generally wear work boots or skate/tennis shoes and am looking for something that will cover the laces of the shoes basically leaving the toe uncovered by the jeans. Like I said earlier I'll be going with American Eagle after a friend let me try on a pair of hers. They were the kick boot and looked like they might work but I didn't trying them with shoes or boots.

Thanks for any advice

Kariann:

Lane Bryant sells at lot of pants(many types) on the internet. To get to the size chart , you have to press bottoms, then either tall or petite then you can get to the size charts. Then look at your waist which then should give your size
Hope this helps.

I use Alloy online because Im so tall I cannot get long enough here in Fairbanks. I wear a flare bottom as it hides my less than dainty feet. lol

Very good quality and priced right, Ive never been disappointed.

Best wishes on your journey,
Stevie

So sorry, just saying what worked for me.  I said flare because it did what you wanted I thought, no harm meant and I did read what you wrote. I dont know if american eagle has flare so I cant tell you that. I guess you'll just have to go shopping which isnt all bad.

Hey Kariann, I shopped American eagle for jeans as well. I bought their skinny jeans and from another vender I bought a pair of boot cut that was very very similar to the AEO pair.

From my shopping experience and from what I can gather from others boot cut is a very good place to start style wise. It's very flattering and very comfortable. My skinny are nice but they are not the comfy jeans like boot cut are.

I read what you asked, but offer this tidbit... As far as -where- to find them, search Goodwill..  I have found all my jeans there, straight leg, skinny, flare cut.. Vera Wang, Aeropostale, faded glory, Lee, Levi.. And btwn $4-$8/ea.

Sorry a offer to save money with a different mfg. That offers a wide selection of styles, fits and leg cuts did not help in your question.

My bad.

Boot cut is what I buy.

I love my flair cut, the fit my hips like a glove,  I just picked up a pair of AE, jeans from a thrift store in Atlanta thats boot cut they are quickly becoming my new favorites!!  I wore them and my bro in law told me he married the wrong family member.  So I guess they are good.

I agree ^^___^^ Goodwill offers a wide array of sizes at rock bottom prices. Also you could check with your local thrift stores.

I LOVE AE jeans!!  I have straight jeans that I wear with pumps, skinny jeans that I wear under knee high boots, kick boot that I wear with miscellaneous shoes/boots, and artist for a casual look!  I normally wait till they go on sale and purchase them for about $19.99 each.  Normally they run around $34.

Wear whatever you fancy. My favorite brand of jeans is "Vanity" because they just fit so dang well! They are generally pretty cheap and around 50-100 dollars depending on the style.

In answer to your question about AE jeans, if you are interested in covering the laces of your boots/shoes, the Kick boot will only cover them partially to the middle of the top of the foot.  Artist jeans are super flared and should cover your laces, however.
