I tried searching this but I couldn't find anything. I was wondering if the area where the boobs are will stop growing hair when hormones and that tales affect. Also what about around the nipples because I have hair their too. My chest hair isn't like thick. I am going to start epolating (spelled it wrong sorry) soon but just wondering.

Hasn't happened for me yet but it does grow considerably slower now. 

I've read (or been told, can't remember exactly) somewhere before that chest hair will thin and turn into more vellum-like female body hair.......  except around the nipples..... 

The nipples, really?!  Jeez who writes these rules anyway?!

When you do start to epilate be sure to exfoliate well too.  I used to get waxed regularly and had horrible ingrown chest hairs.  My luck I guess, those have thankfully stopped since hrt.

I would recommend getting a hold of a good home ipl unit. I bought one second hand and have had amazing results after 3 sessions two weeks apart. I didn't have much hair, and it wasn't very thick but I've seen about a 95-99 % reduction in the areas that I needed it done. I've already got really nice skin and am already getting some breast growth so getting rid of that hair really reduced my body disphoria! For only like $300 it was so,worth it!! I'm sure hrt and a few more sessions will fix the rest. So that's my 2c

Hi there, from the how do I pass section, I made reference to heightened dysphoria caused by facial hair growth. Well I have body hair growth including that on chest as well. I enquired about electrolysis and laser treatment pending final assessment for hrt. To the point , what hair removal system do you recommend.? Don't want cheap and nasty as fear scarring and toughening skin especially  on face! Have real combination of dark and white/ Gray hairs . Not getting any younger as now 50 and I fear my bio clock is ticking way too fast! Hugs Elizabeth xx

I have to shave my breasts about once in 3 months...much less often than my cis-gf.

My tummy is not quite so well-behaved though...once a month there (gf never has to).

I'm about 2.5 Years HRT, but it was like this after about 14 months.

Reading this I feel blessed...I used to be as hairy as a troll but hair quit growing on my bod.  I saw a few tummy hairs coming up and had t levels checked and upped the dose and all better.

Bicalutamide nearly stopped the growth of chest/tummy hair for me. Occasionally I will find hairs that need plucking, but most of the hairs that appear are tiny, clear, and soft.

What model did you get? I'm looking at options too. 
There have been a few posts about the Trea 4x only it's like $500 and I've still got some saving to do.

The only home lasers worth having are the Tria you mentioned, and Silk-N's Flash -n-Go. If you opt for the flash-n-go get the new one that you never have to replace the bulbs for. I love mine but bulbs can get expensive.

Oh, never had much hair at all on my chest, but what little was there disappeared after 3 months on hrt.

HRT got rid of most of it for me, and there's no longer enough that it's blatantly noticeable, but I do still have to shave it for my own personal comfort every couple of weeks or so.

I have several trans friends who still have quite noticeable body hair, though, so it's not a guarantee that it will go away. Finasteride and other DHT blockers supposedly help a bit, but the general rule is that HRT won't get rid of it, it will just thin out what you already have.

And that's my experience. I still have just as many hairs there as before, it's just that a lot of them turned back into blond vellus hairs, and the dark ones that remained got lighter in color and not as thick. So it's all still there, it's just not noticeable anymore. And again, it varies from person to person. Some have almost nothing visible left over after HRT, some still have to shave regularly to get it to look smooth. It's kind of a crapshoot.

I bought a Silk'n Pro, it was supposedly sold for around $1000 NZD about two years ago, it works really well but the lamps don't last that long and are expensive to replace though. I got mine for like $250 NZD with a new pair of lamps and I've just ordered a new pair. I'm considering selling and getting a current one though, where the lamps last for ages/never need to be replaced. I didn't want to spend too much at first in case home IPL proved a bit of a gimmick, but it actually worked really well! So if I get a good one now, I know it won't be a waste of time, so I'm prepared to spend a little more this time round. I can think of so many more areas that I can clean up now lol, under arm, full legs etc.. Goodluck!

I actually prefer my IPL over my lasers. It's much quicker and covers a wider area. But as you say bulbs can get expensive. I too am looking into the Lux myself that is, unless a bulb for my Flash-n-go can be purchased that won't burn out.
