House measure to end workplace bias against gays gains traction

WASHINGTON (AP) - Gay rights supporters are hoping the U.S. House approves a ban on job discrimination against gay, lesbian and transgender workers.
The measure has been introduced in some form or another since 1994, but it has more traction this year with Democrats in control of Congress.
