Not so much as the "I can't stand taking the bus any longer because one day I will get sick of our crappy transit system and jump in front of said bus" mode lol.

It's a beauty Shan, not a BMW or anything but it is mine! I'll email you a pic.

Wow, nice ride Caleb!

Congratulations on the car, birkin. I hope the change brings you enough comfort and freedom to greatly outweigh the extra shifts you'll be doing.  :)

I'm happy because I'm experiencing a rather rare episode of euthymia, medication means I can function okey dokey in daily life despite depressive moods but I cherish the times when extremes are absent. There's amazing clarity of thought that I miss the rest of the time too, no preoccupations are draining energy.  :P
"In the middle of the journey of our life, I came to myself in a dark wood, where the straight way was lost. It is a hard thing to speak of, how wild, harsh and impenetrable that wood was, so that thinking of it recreates the fear. It is scarcely less bitter than death: but, in order to tell of the good that I found there, I must tell of the other things I saw there." - Dante Alighieri

Four hours a day on the bus can make anybody crazy. I did that for a few weeks recently to take my kid to a school in the suburbs, and I plowed through a lot of good books but I felt kind of dazed and stiff half the time. Grats on getting that situation out of your life, birkin. :)

I dunno what made me happy today; I just clicked on this thread because I like to read all the other happy things. I was up past midnight, so I guess it counts that I got to talk to my roommate when he came home late and a little inebriated from the brewer's festival. We normally are standoffish and kind of just ploddingly strategize around one anothers' neuroses so there's no strife in the common areas. It was nice to talk like friends.

I went out to a cafe with my mom and she told me to eat like a gentleman, as opposed to like a lady which I've heard all my life.  In my defense, they gave my a tiny fork to eat an apple pie with.  I was making less of a mess just eating it with my hands.

Thanks lonicera and Felix. I can't wait to be able to actually drive it. It might take a month to 6 weeks due to this being the busy time of year for driving lessons. But I am so proud of it!

My feeling right now is more of relief than happiness, but it's all close enough. I just came out to my brother and he was super supportive. I knew he'd be the same supportive sibling he always has been, but he didn't even give me the thousand questions I thought he would. He just treated it like another normal conversation, which I really appreciated. I'm not going to tell the rest of the family yet for several reasons, but they'll certainly figure things out once I get into hrt. I won't be trying to hide anything at that point.

Congrats Eevee, that's good news!

Good for you Gypsy. It will make things at work much easier on you. I'm always proud of girls who stand up for who they are.

Well, my booby's have had several growth spurts lately, and as of today I'm no longer an A cup, my booby's fit nicely into this cute 32B I have. My other B's fit nicely as well. This is way sooner than I ever expected. They can slow down now, lol! But I'm a happy happy girl!!

Thanks Emily. I never expected this so soon especially with much less than desirable E levels. They can slow down now. I'm too tiny up Top and short in the torso for anything bigger than a full B cup.

Today I went to the Social Security office to get my new card with my new name.  It was actually pretty easy to do, and the woman who helped me was super nice.  I was so overcome with joy and happiness on my drive home that I missed my exit.

And Thursday I get my new driver's license and can ditch the old one forevermore.

I have successfully transitioned, and this amazing, awesome feeling I got today is simply indescribable.

This feeling is one awesome thing that cispeople can certainly never experience.

Thank you all.   I owe quite a bit of thanks to so many fine people here, without whom my transition would have been much more difficult.

Woohoo!  Sooo, it's a done deal, and it feels so great to finally feel like I have both feet firmly on the other side of the fence.

I think I must be experiencing gender euphoria.

Well, apparently, they are letting me be manager of a store starting Thursday. Its not the one I've been at for 3 and a half years, but the one that I have filled in at some recently. I hope they know what they are doing...
