I am a female and would like information in where to go and what to do in my city.

I heard St. Louis has some great museums and art galleries

Chicago is only a few hours drive east, There is the museum of science and industry, the planetarium. Brookfield zoo. rush street , old town, boys town, the field museum and of course the art institute.

What kinds of things are you looking to do?  I have lived here most of my life.
