I would advice against smoking pot as not only is illegal but marihuana smoke has more than double the number of cancer causing agents than cigarettes...

The OP stated that Canna butter was being used, this is the mixing of Cannabis with butter (hence the name), it is taken oraly & this negates the risk of cancer caused by smoking.
Using a vapouriser as I sometimes do does not generate smoke & is less damaging than breathing in traffic fumes whilst walking next to a busy road.

THC has been proven to be very effective in the treatment of Parkinsons disease so I understand why the OP would ask the question about THC effecting HRT.
I use it as it helps to dull the constant itching of my skin without the drowsiness that comes from the very heavy doses of anti-histamines that I have to take to get the same reduction in itching so i'm also very interested in the effect of THC on HRT.

We all know the risk of smoking but this topic isn't about smoking. Most people are aware that if you smoke green then there is a very high chance that you'll inhale deeper thus causing more damage, this is why i've returned to the much healthier method of vapourisers.

OK, you intend to use THC for medicinal purposes rather than recreational.  That is a bit different issue and was not clear in the initial post.  You have to do what you have to do.

I am an old stick in the mud and have a really negative reation to THC so my opinions and statements sort of reflect who I am and where I have been.  Sorry for my bit of a rant - you sort of need to disregard this old girl.

In places where pot is legal for recreational use, I would assume it has the same stipulations as alcohol and you wouldn't show up drunk. I am assuming if the employer does random drug test that there is leeway to how much is in your system. After all it is just as legal in two states for recreational use just as alcohol is. For states that prescribe it for medicinal use, you have to have a prescription and I really don't know how employers react with THC showing up on random drug tests.

The federal government does not recognize either the recreational legalization or medicinal legalization. So if your job subjects you to federal guidelines and laws and regulations, THC showing up on randoms over the threshold is a no no, prescription or if you live in a state it is legal. People that live in Colorado and Washington state if they drive trucks, fly planes, run trains, work at the post office and so on it is still illegal to use. State workers in the states where it is legal, I really don't know. Unless you are politician and then you have no rules to go by. Also if you are caught with it in a national park say in Washington state by a park ranger, you can be busted for posession because that national park is actually federal government land.

I know I hijacked the thread a little but all of what I said may keep people out of trouble.
