I have been known to go as high as $5 for a pair of jeans. I mostly shop at thrift stores. With the money I save I don't feel bad about splurging on something I fall in love with in a more upscale store

I went shopping for clothes Saturday with my sister and grandmother, (expecting to pay up to $40 for a pair of jeans)
Well my sister found some at Express that fit me really well, ( and my grandmother paid for them) but they were way more expensive than I expected. ($120ish for 2 pairs)
I had seen a sign out front that was advertising buy one get one jeans for about $30... But it was men's jeans ):

I don't think even $60 is worth it for good fitting jeans, but I didn't pay for them. From now on I'll stick with goodwill.

$100.00 ... Most Guess jeans are around $80-$100 which I really like. Most of those I buy are $20-$30.

Basically this. I spend on average about $20-30. But for the right pair, for a pair thatreally fits, I'd go up to $100. maybe $200 if I was making the money I did when I was 27.

Think I spent $90 something on a pair of lucky brand. American eagle fit pretty well and there around 30ish.

Well they definitely look fabulous, but if I were to spend $150, I'd put it towards buying software for my computer such as Photoshop, after effects, fl studio. I need all of those, Really expensive though.

I get my expensive jeans at the thrift store, nicely broken in and in perfect condition... for less than 10$, some as low as 4$

It would be great to find those Spanx jeans in my size in a thrift store because there is no way in hell I can afford a $ 150 pair of jeans much less a 30 dollar pair of jeans. they look great though with zippers on the side and how they flatten the tummy

I just looked those up Spanx jeans. They are form fitting right? Wouldn't it feel like wearing a sausage casing? ;D

My lovely spouse will spend between $100 and $300 for jeans, and now that she has gained a few lbs since she turned 50 she is giving me her skinny jeans as she buys clothes that better fit her now :)

Its her money, she makes way more than me lol...I dont mind her hand me downs at all ;)

I have one pair of jeans atm that I paid $15 for at Walmart.  Faded Glory that fit me pretty well and looked good!  I've never spent more that about $20-25 on jeans, but would be willing to go up to $50.  I've started looking at thrift stores, but I have a hard time finding anything other than skinny jeans, which I don't like (I'm a boot cut kind of girl).  I think I may go and take a look at TJ Maxx this week, or Ross, and see what they have, actually.

I like the look and feel of designer jeans, and yes, they are more expensive, but they're better quality.

^^ Pretty much. They are expensive, but the quality of everything is much better.

I have the same pair Colin is wearing on the left.

I don't think I would spend more than $250 though. Some of these jeans are near $700 a pair!

You also have to be careful of cheap imitations on eBay when buying designer.

The main thing I wear is jeans so I want to wear nice ones. The thrift stores in my town are mercilessly picked over so there is nothing to pick from. Since that forces me into buying new I expect to pay about $60-70 per pair for everyday jeans. I might go higher if I was shopping for something special and I had the funds.

I'd pay 400 if it gave me a butt to fill it out.

Thanks to plato's closet, I have yet to spend more than $20 for great quality jeans. The stuff I find there can easily go for $40+ oh and ebay.

$150? That pair of jeans cost the manufacturer pennies to make. What you are paying for is the brand, nothing more

For me, I'd say 20-30 dollars maximum. Bitches do indeed be on a budget.
