So I plan on getting surgery within the next year. I plan on going to dr garramone.
I just want to get a rundown at the approximate price you guys paid in total. Hotel, hospital(care credit?), garramones fee, prescriptions? - Are they accepted by your insurance

I would suggest you start by looking at his site.  It has a lot of information.  Here is the cost page.

http://drgarramone.com/costs/

Outside of this, figure $130 per night ( 6-7 nights) for hotel and figure in food.  Prescriptions like $50.  Garramone doesn't take insurance.

I probably ran around $7,500

I think my plane ticket was more, as I am farther away than Brett was, which I got way way ahead ($320 round trip from Albuquerque). I stayed at New Beginnings which was  $140/day. (You might spend that much regardless of where you stay, I found they saved me money.) I payed maybe $40 both ways for a cab.

$1400 NBR (for ten days-- you could stay I think 8 or so)
$320 airfare.Get your flight as much ahead of time as possible. Over 3-6 months is good.
I didn't spend that much on food while I was there under $100. If you were at a hotel, you'd end up spending more for that. Try and stay somewhere with a refrigerator and little kitchen.

You might be able to get covered for the hospital, but I don't think they take Care Credit. Dr G does. Be sure to take out the smallest possible loan. And be sure to pay on time. Really important. This is where Care credit really socks it to it's customers.
