How can I make myself look older?

My bf is super sweet and awesome, totally sees me as a guy, but the thing that gets him is that, I look like a pre-pubescent boy.
And its not just being trans (although I know that is something that's an issue for a lot of FTMs), but also looking younger than you are, really runs in the family.
He still loves me, and it doesn't get to him so much that he'd break up with me for it,
But I want to make things more comfortable for him, and so,

Is there any way at all that I can make myself look older?

There are plenty of things that people do that make themselves look older, unfortunately most of them involve really bad lifestyle choices...too much sun, smoking, excessive drinking, very poor diet...wizens and wrinkles them up real good. Not that I'm recommending that but certainly those are the activities we are told to avoid in anti-ageing advice.  :-\

That might be it!
Because I don't smoke, or drink, I don't go outside much, and I eat fairly healthy.
Damn.
Maybe make-up or something, then?

I was gunna say the same thing as Grace, haha.
Maybe become super buff?
I don't think anything is REALLY gunna help except actual aging and maybe a few years on T, if you plan to take it.

I've drank, smoked, and sunbathed, none of those made me look any older. I think its a curse or something! lol I'm 31 and on a good day the oldest I look is 13.  I tell people I tripped and fell into the fountain of youth as a child.

If you find a solution to this let me know!

you can't really. sometimes a haircut can do it, the clothing you wear. however if you decide to start T, you will most likely look a bit older and i think it helps greatly looking young when it comes to taking T because trans guys tend to go from baby face to attractive/more their age pretty easily from what i've seen.

If looking "Gender: M" is your thing, makeup's not a great method unless you're performing on stage. Which brings to mind the usual methods used on stage to make actors look older. They include dressing more formally and neatly, facial hair, grey head hair and walking with a cane. That last one might be a last resort, of course.

A big part of seeming more mature is not about looks, though, it's about how you speak, move and what you do. I've run into many people who looked youngish at first, but were obviously more mature after I met them.

Don't push it. There will be a time when you will wish that you could look younger. Be happy with the look while you have it.

When I was 13, I had a random "Aha!" moment. I had been wearing boyish shorts. I don't remember what kind but anyway, I had noticed just then that the men around me did not wear shorts at all. They always wore pants. From then on, I adopted a more conservative way of dressing and ended up always being asked if I was in college. Now I'm actually college age and get asked if I've graduated or working on it. Hah. Far from it, but a useful assumption.

So. To look older, start dressing like men and not boys. Lose the t-shirts and shorts, wear the dark slacks and button-ups. I think wearing long sleeves with the sleeves rolled up looks better than just short sleeve button ups, but you should watch the professional men around you for hints. The way you type also is a dead give away, not to be mean.

(For the record, I did start wearing shorts again about eight years later. Just the slacks kind and not the jersey shorts, and when appropriate.)

One way to look older is to bulk up; a slender figure resembles a boy more than a man.
Another thing is to wear more mature clothes: buttoned shirts, nice pants and shoes etc. Tees and hoodies won't help you look older.

Can't do much about face and body shape, at least not quickly.  Clothes and style can help a lot, as others have said.  Hyper masculine and mature men can get away with wearing young-boyish, sloppy, and baggy clothes.  Guys who naturally look super young, on the other hand, cannot afford to do this.  Dressing like an older guy may mean selecting clothes that are more boring and less 'cool,' but that's how it goes.  Button up shirts and suits MUST fit properly in order to avoid looking like a young boy playing dress up.  Nothing says twelve year old boy like a smooth baby face in an oversized suit.
