On HRT, living full-time, hopefully SRS coming up at some point within the next few years once I have the money for it.
  •

Heather

I'm on hrt living full time hoping to have SRS as soon as I can. But truthfully as far as I'm concerned my transition is complete. I've been very lucky that I don't need any other surgery besides SRS. :)

Full time, 4875 hours away from surgery (but who's counting )

I'm on HRT and not living even part time.

I suppose there's more people doing that on low dose HRT though.

I'm just patiently waiting to start HRT. While I went the informed consent route, there's quite a waiting list to see a doctor and have to wait until October. In the meantime, I'm just writing in my transition blog and looking for work.

I am impatiently waiting to start HRT. Whilst I tried to go down the NHS approved route of waiting, delays and more waiting, after 6 months without even speaking to someone to discuss my dysphoria (and more than another month to go before speaking to the next intermediary) I've decided to begin self medicating (with medical supervision) after I get genetic storage sorted out.
I refuse to live in fear! Come hell or high water I will not back down! I will live my life!
But you have no life.
Ha. Even that won't stop me.

I will protect even those I hate, so long as it is right.

I would advise strongly against that. Been there done that. Wasted money and lost time. I would spend my money trying to find a private doctor to help.

FYI taking or posting about that subject is taboo here.

Just look after your health do not do that.

Well down the HRT path.

Laser / electro mostly done.

Voice is pretty much perfect, except for when I first wake up or when I am being poor mannered and try to talk with my mouth full.

Working on securing everything I will need to go on the waiting list for SRS with Marci Bowers next year. And having my name legally changed (which is a HORRIFYING process in Colorado)!!

Been full time since the first week of June this year.

I NEVER get mis-genered anymore, in person or on the phone. It is so incredible, and I am so very happy.

Do you mean in general or in this thread?

It was my understanding that on the forum discussing dosages was prohibited but that there was nothing wrong with simply mentioning self-medication, in which case am I misinformed or have the rules changed?
I'm not advocating it just stating my own intention.

If you mean in this thread then I'll certainly respect your wishes as its originator and I won't mention it again after this post.

Either way as a moderator could you clarify the forums position, I do not wish to break the site rules or cause offence.

I appreciate your concern for my health and the dangers associated with this action. I have sought a private doctor to help who will be monitoring my hormone levels and my health moving forward.

I do however find the following statement a little bit patronising.

Eris,
The comment was not patronising it was meant to be helpful. Please don't self medicate, if you were thinking of that way.
I do understand the frustration BTW.

If you have a problem with one of my Mods bring out to me, and not on the board.

Thanks

Cindy

I am not in a position where I can transition and realistically probably never will be able to.
