Hi peeps! I've lurked this great forum for about a year and finally joined. I'm 26 and have never had any type of surgery done before.
I'm moving to Thailand next year and staying in Bangkok for a year, I will be living in my own apartment. Since I'll already be in Thailand, I'm also going to have a rhinoplasty done. (I like the rest of my face)
I like the work I've seen from Chettawut so I was considering him, but according to his prices at this link:
http://www.tssurgeryguide.com/Dr_Chettawut.htmla Feminizing Rhinoplasty costs 122,000 THB (about $3,800)
If it's not all inclusive than it seems like quite a bit for Thailand. Surely the thousands of ladyboys walking around Bangkok didn't pay thousands of dollars for their surgeries!
For anyone who has been through Chettawut:
Is that all inclusive? Are there any more costs outside of that? (blood tests, anesthesia, pain killers, etc.)
Do surgeons usually drop the price when you contact them directly?
Should I wait to contact him until I'm actually living in Bangkok? Maybe his price will drop, or I won't be seen as just another medical tourist? (Also won't have to stay in his hotels)
Also if any of you have had work with Dr.Chettawut or any other doctors in Bangkok please share your experiences and results with me.
If not Chettawut, can anyone recommend someone cheaper in Bangkok?
I understand the risks, but I'm very tight on money and have no family. Having it done in the USA at extortionate prices is not an option.
I greatly appreciate input from anyone!
